Just days after his victory in Germany, Hamilton is very much still out to keep the momentum going at this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix. With his second well earned win, the McLaren driver is eager to race again but has admitted he knows it will be a tight contest against the top three teams.
After my win at the Nurburgring on Sunday, the hungarian Grand Prix can't come soon enough. The team performed brilliantly last weekend and I want to maintain that momentum at the Hungaroring.
The McLaren boys are notoriously known for performing best in wet conditions, so this weekend might prove challenging with the weather conditions much hotter than in Nurburgring. They can also expect the circuit to be physically demanding, quite similar to the Monaco track with lots of twisty and tight turns with very little let up for the drivers when it comes to downforce. This will be a great test for the drivers, I think Red Bull will be in a good position to win due to the aerodynamic nature of their car, especially as we're probably not going to see too much overtaking this weekend. I really hope to see McLaren with a good starting position if they are to be in with a chance of winning!
