Our adult karts (both electric and petrol) can hit 40 mph, with our Junior Karts maxing at 25 mph - so if you have the need for speed, you’re in luck.

WHAT'S THE HIGHEST SPEED FOR GO-KARTING AT TEAMSPORT?
TeamSport Karts have a speed of 40 mph, which gives you the chance to put the medal to the mettle and enjoy a fierce race around one of our circuits. All whilst ensuring you and your competitors are safe and prepared to nail the tight turns. Don’t forget to wave at our crew as you zoom past!

WHAT IS THE MAX SPEED IN JUNIOR GO-KARTING?
The junior go-karts at all our locations have a maximum speed of 25 mph. This is the perfect speed for your mini-adrenaline junkies to get a taste of true adventure and have the time of their lives, just at a slightly calmer pace than the adults.
If you’re thinking about booking a children’s go karting party or want to take your kids out on a family day to remember, then you can rest assured as - along with creating lifelong memories - safety is our highest priority. We understand that it will be yours too! This is why our junior go-karts have a lower top speed than our adult go-karts.
HOW FAST ARE ELECTRIC GO-KARTS?
You’ll be pleased to know that when racing down the straights of one of our tracks in either an Electric or Petrol Kart, the maximum speed will stay the same.
Adults can expect to enjoy a high octane adventure in an Electric go-kart at up to 40 mph (the same as our petrol karts), while juniors will be able to go for gold at speeds of up to 25 mph (again, the same as our petrol karts).
Our E-Karts are lighter than traditional petrol vehicles, which means they can accelerate a fraction faster and may feel lighter/ more nippy when accelerating. We have an excellent range of electric-powered go-karts (or E-Karts) in locations across the UK.
WHAT CAN IMPACT GO-KARTING SPEEDS?
Did you know that there are several things that can have an impact on your speed when you race around one of our circuits? That’s right, if you’re truly in it to win it, you should think about these factors when preparing to take our track by storm:
Type of go kart - While the maximum speed of our go-karts are the same, your acceleration speed could depend on whether you use an electric or petrol engine; as petrol go-karts are lighter so they can help you make spectacular corner turns, while electric go-karts will send you full steam ahead on the straights.

How smooth you drive - This one is nothing to do with our go-karts, this one is down to your skills on the track! The smoother you navigate the circuit, the faster you’ll speed towards the finish line.
