The #F1 2014 season will end this weekend with the eagerly anticipated race in Abu Dhabi. Things are looking good for Lewis Hamilton. But could his chances of winning the Championship be thwarted by Abu Dhabi's controversial double-points system? (King of the impossible wins, and four-time Championship winner Sebastian Vettel certainly thinks so!)
What are the chances of Rosberg clinching the title? To be confident of claiming the Championship Hamilton needs to finish in either first or second place. If he doesn't, well that's when things get a bit more complicated... A DNF would almost certainly spell the end of things for Hamilton (well at least in terms of winning), but with just 17 points between them, Hamilton can't afford to take things easy, so may have to take a few risks. To stand a chance at the title, Rosberg would need at least one other driver to finish behind him (and before Hamilton). So it really comes down to a numbers game, with nothing certain ahead of Sunday. See how the stats pan-out for yourself with our #F1 2014 infographic below...
