Lewis Hamilton is apparently about to seal a deal with Mercedes, says F1 motorsport personality, Eddie Jordan. He reckons personal terms have been agreed and papers just need to be signed but, even more sensationally he claims Michael Schumacher will retire and Hamilton will be his replacement. Jordan told the BBC:
It would appear Michael is leaving and Lewis is arriving at Mercedes. A deal could be imminent

Mercedes and a representative for Hamilton have refused to comment. Phew, talk about a bombshell!
