For just £34.99 per year, your child aged 8-15 will partake in tailored sessions led by fully qualified instructors, to help them achieve their very best karting selves both on and off the track. Your child will follow a clearly structured progression pathway, aimed to take them from a beginner to an advanced karter.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Children need to be 8+ with an inside leg measurement of at least 25 inches. Children 13+ with an inside leg measurement of at least 29 inches will use our Adult Karts (measurements from crotch to heel of shoe).

WHEN DOES RACE ACADEMY RUN?

Sessions run weekly on Sundays and Mondays, in order to suit after-school club times and family life. Whilst weekly attendance will ensure your child progresses on the quickest path, it is not mandatory. You will only pay for sessions that your child attends.

WHERE DOES RACE ACADEMY TAKE PLACE?

All sessions are run exclusively at our state-of-the-art TeamSport Indoor Karting venues. All our tracks run Race Academy sessions, so head to our locations tab and find your nearest track.

WHAT DOES THE TUITION INVOLVE?

Our academy involves tailored tuition suited to your child's abilities, with 30 mins on track and 60 mins off track for feedback, additional coaching, and rest time.

All karters will start as a beginner, with a focus on the basics such as track safety and the racing line. From here they will progress to intermediate where the sessions will become more challenging as your child progresses, for example learning racing strategies. When they achieve their intermediate licence, your child will be signed off as advanced.

Advanced karters are eligible to enter Race Academy League tournaments and the British Indoor Karting Championships, our sessions will help support them through the development of competitive karting.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Our Race Academy offers the best value Karting tuition in the UK with price per session at approximately £30 per session. Additionally, you can SAVE and get FREE karting after multiple visits as part of your Race Academy Membership.

DO I NEED TO BOOK?

Yes. Class sizes are limited so pre-booking is essential to guarantee your Cadet / Junior racer a place in the starting line-up.
