Cherwell District Council has given the green light for an exhilarating new addition to Oxfordshire’s leisure scene: a £2 million indoor karting centre, set to open at Bicester Heritage in late 2025. TeamSport Indoor Karting, Europe’s largest indoor karting operator and leader in revolutionising the indoor karting experience, is behind this dynamic project, which will bring an adrenaline-fuelled experience to the historic borough.
The planned site on Buckingham Road will feature a state-of-the-art, multi-level 500-metre track, professionally designed with heart-pounding bends, high-speed straights, and breathtaking ramps. Up to 16 drivers at a time will be able to tackle the course, making it an unmissable venue for karting enthusiasts of all levels. Adding to the excitement, the centre will also offer a range of additional entertainment, including four lanes of bowling, pool tables, arcade games, and a licensed Trackside Bar & Kitchen, creating an all-around leisure destination.
In addition to creating a top-tier karting venue, TeamSport’s new centre will bring up to 30 new jobs to the area, offering both full and part-time positions to local residents.
